Bloom
Day2026

Step into The Bloom Experience — four zones, one hot seat, zero boring parts.

Part wellness lab. Part live show. Part girls’ afternoon out. One free afternoon inside the air-conditioned Pavilion for the women of the Coachella Valley who are done being told this chapter is a decline. You will build a tasting flight, blend a scent, put your grip strength on a live leaderboard, and get photographed at the arch.

You are not declining. You are blooming.

The invitation

Nobody hands a woman a map for this part.

Perimenopause arrives and the advice runs out. Eat less. Sleep more. It’s just your age. Meanwhile the sleep goes, the strength goes, the words go missing mid-sentence, and everyone acts like this is a personality flaw instead of endocrinology.

So we built the opposite of a lecture. Four stations you do things at, one keynote, one hot seat where the questions arrive anonymously, a live leaderboard, a stamped passport, and a raffle at the end. Nothing about this afternoon asks you to sit still and be talked at.

Bring a friend. Bring your daughter. Bring the neighbor who keeps saying she’s fine.

350 spots. Free. Gone when they’re gone.

New for 2026 · the method, now powered by IKI

Midlife Bloom Method™

Powered by IKI

Your hardest year should not be the one nobody measured.

Midlife women are navigating health, stress, work, identity and major life transitions all at once. But educational support is still fragmented. This pilot brings those pieces together in one structured, data-informed journey: the Midlife Bloom Method™ experience, now powered by IKI Health’s ongoing support and measurement between sessions.

FeelTrack · TRY

Powered by IKI

Daily emotional insights, AI-enhanced.

The Midlife Bloom Method™ table inside CONNECT has it running on October 18. Open it on your own phone, do your first check-in there, and ask the questions you would rather ask a person than a help page.

The method leads and the technology serves it. IKI supports the Midlife Bloom Method™ — it does not diagnose anything, and it does not replace your doctor.

Make · Wear · Share · Try

Everything here is something you do, wear, share, or try.

That was the rule we built the afternoon against. If a segment could be described as “watch and wait”, it got rebuilt — which is why you leave holding four things you made, wore, or won rather than a tote full of flyers.

  • MAKE

    RESTORE · The Reset Bar

Blend a scent roll-on, label it, take it home. It keeps working in your handbag for months.

  • WEAR

    Check-in · Pick your petal

A pin in the colour of the pillar you need most. It starts every conversation in the room for you.

  • SHARE

CONNECT · The Bloom Wall Live

Photo arch, roaming photographer, and a wall of cards going up in real time.

  • TRY

NOURISH & STRENGTHEN · Taste Bar and Leaderboard

Build a tasting flight with your own hands. Put your grip strength on a live screen.

The activation floor

Four stations. Not four booths.

The Pavilion floor divides into four, all of them open at once from 4:45 PM. Each one has a thing you actually do, a stamp for your passport, and something physical you carry out of the room.

01 / Sage ZoneTRY

NOURISH

The Taste Bar

Build your own tasting flight. Find out what actually works.

Not a demo table you walk past — a flight board you fill yourself. Pick your pours, read what each one does to your blood sugar, and take the card home marked up in your own handwriting.

You leave withYour marked-up flight card and the printed Bloom Hormone Tea Guide

02 / Rose ZoneMAKE

RESTORE

The Reset Bar

Blend a scent. Learn one breath. Leave holding both.

Cool air, low light, and a bench with your name on it. You blend a personal roll-on at the scent bar and label it yourself, which means the calmest four minutes of your afternoon come home in your handbag.

You leave withThe roll-on you blended and the printed evening wind-down card

03 / Gold ZoneTRY

STRENGTHEN

The Leaderboard

Grip it. Hold it. Get your name on the screen.

Three challenges, one live leaderboard, and a screen updating all afternoon. Nobody is watching your form — they are watching the numbers climb, and the numbers are banded by decade so you compete with your own age group.

You leave withYour three numbers on a card, plus the 7-day starter strength plan

The Bloom Passport

Collect four stamps. Unlock the reveal.

Small unlocks make people finish things. So the passport is a real stamped booklet, the stations are real stamps, and what waits at the end is named rather than hinted at.

Gamified · bring your stamps

The Bloom Passport

Handed to you with your tote at check-in. Four stations, four stamps, and something waiting at the end.

Four stamps by 6:15 PM = a bonus entry in The Drop.

  • NOURISH

    The Taste Bar

Stamped when your flight board is full.

  • RESTORE

    The Reset Bar

Stamped when your bottle is labelled.

  • STRENGTHEN

    The Leaderboard

Stamped when all three numbers are on the board.

  • CONNECT

    The Bloom Wall Live

Stamped when your card is on the wall and you have posted with #BloomDay2026.

What four stamps unlock

  • A Midlife Bloom Method sticker for your water bottle
  • A Bloom Day-only code for the next 6-Week Cohort
  • An extra ticket in the 6:15 PM raffle

The fifth stamp

Sign the Blue Zones Personal Pledge at the CONNECT station between 5:15 and 6:00 PM for a fifth stamp and a second bonus entry.

Pick your petal at check-in

Four pins, one per pillar. Take the colour of the thing you came here to fix and wear it all afternoon — it tells every other woman in the room exactly where to start with you.

4:15 PM · Formerly “the panel”

Unfiltered: The Hot Seat

Real questions. No script. No raised hands.

Nobody puts their hand up to ask about painful sex, or rage, or why their doctor shrugged. So we took the microphone out of the audience and put a screen behind the panel instead.

  1. 01Text it in, anonymously

Scan the QR code on your table, type the question you would never say out loud, and watch it scroll up on the screen behind the panel with nobody’s name on it. You can send yours right now, weeks early.

  2. 02The myth round

A menopause myth flashes on screen. Paddles up: TRUE or FALSE. The panel has ten seconds and no time to hedge. Fast, loud, and extremely watchable.

  3. 03The clinicians answer the room, not the format

Same expertise a panel would have given you, aimed at the questions the room actually has instead of the ones a moderator prepared.

Ask anything, anonymously

No name, no email, no way for us to trace it back to you. Send it now and it goes into the same queue as the ones typed in from the room.

280 characters left

Questions are read by the team before they go on the screen, and the screen never shows a name.

The myth round

Paddles up. Play it here first.

On the day, a myth goes up on screen and the panel has ten seconds and no room to hedge. Here it is two buttons and an instant reveal.

6 myths · paddles up

Call it before you read the answer.

  • Menopause is over in a year or two.

  • Hot flashes are the main event.

  • Lifting heavy is risky once you are past 45.

  • Muscle is the closest thing to a retirement account for your body.

  • If your labs come back normal, nothing is wrong.

  • You are allowed to ask for a menopause-informed clinician.

The myth round is general education, not medical advice. Bring anything specific to a menopause-informed clinician — and if you do not have one, that is a question worth putting in The Hot Seat.

Center stage

3:45 PM · Keynote

“You Are Not Declining, You Are Blooming”

Shanae Smith went into surgical menopause in her early thirties and was handed no plan at all. Nineteen years in California city government — City Clerk, project manager, grant writer, $22 million in public funds — taught her how to build a system out of a mess, and twenty years of self-directed research turned that into the four pillars. MAX-40 Fitness came first; the Midlife Bloom Method is what she wishes someone had handed her.

Licensed professionals and leaders working in women’s midlife health, taking anonymous questions off the screen behind them — sleep, strength, hormones, and the arguments women stop having with themselves.

  • Mihai Patru

Executive Director, Blue Zones Project Palm Springs

  • Dr. Divya JoshiMD, MMM

Interim Chief Medical Officer, Eisner Health, CA

A passionate physician executive and healthcare leader.

  • Tricia Gray

Today, as a speaker and leadership mentor, Tricia’s core mission is to serve as living proof for the next generation that your history does not define your potential.

After Bloom Day · The 6-Week Cohort

Your body is not broken. It is changing.

Stop fighting your body. Start working with it.

Women in perimenopause, menopause, or post-menopause — plus women in their early forties who would rather get ahead of it. CEOs, nurses, teachers, mothers, entrepreneurs, first responders, city leaders. Women who want structure and other women, not another PDF they save and forget.

If you recognise any of this

  • The 3 PM crash you have started scheduling around
  • Sleep that breaks at 3 AM whatever you do
  • The weight that stopped responding to what always worked
  • Words going missing mid-sentence
  • Rage or tears arriving out of proportion to the thing
  • Being told your labs are normal and to try relaxing

Six weeks from now, you will feel different.

Cortisol and your nervous system, progressive resistance training built for your body now, breathwork, and Cardio Fusion.

  4. 04

Sleep architecture, why 3 AM keeps happening, and the Evening Wind-Down Protocol you will actually keep.

  5. 05

Educational content and coaching, not medical care, and not a substitute for your clinician.

What you take home

350 totes. That is the whole capacity.

Every spot comes with a tote, and we packed 350 of them. When the totes are gone, we are at capacity — so claiming a spot is the difference between walking in and standing at the door. What goes inside stays a surprise until you pick yours up at check-in — along with your Bloom Passport and your petal pin.

Sealed until October 18

One tote, a handful of things worth keeping, and no hints.

Every registered in-person attendee gets one at the door while supplies last. Opening it is part of the day, so we are not publishing the list.

The Bloom Moai

A circle that doesn’t end when today does.

If today felt like the first real breath you have had in a while, it does not have to end when you walk out of the Pavilion.

Inspired by the Okinawan tradition of the moai — a small group of people who commit to showing up for each other, for life.

  • Monthly gatherings, rotating through Nourish, Restore, Strengthen, and Connect
  • A shared meal every time
  • Real referrals between women who actually know your work
  • Real community, not a business-card exchange

For women entrepreneurs in the Coachella Valley ready for more than networking.

Find the CONNECT table on October 18, or add your name now and hear the first date before anyone else.

Spring 2027 · Founding list open

The Bloom Retreat moved. That is the good news.

Three days of being completely cared for deserves more runway than this fall allowed. So the retreat moved to Spring 2027, and Bloom Day is where the founding list opens to everyone. Raise your hand on October 18 and your founding rate is locked — the number itself is revealed at 6:15 PM during The Drop.

Questions

The things people ask first.

Still wondering something? Email shanaesmith@oasiswomenswellness.com or call (760) 237-8119.

It’s free — so why do I have to RSVP?

Because the room holds 350 and so does the tote count. An RSVP is how you claim one of the 350 spots, and it is what tells us how many stamps, flight cards, and totes to pack. When the totes are gone we are at capacity, and after that the only honest answer at the door is no.

Is this just sitting and listening to a panel?

No, and that was deliberate. There is one keynote and one hot seat, both under an hour combined, and the rest of the afternoon is four stations you do things at: build a tasting flight, blend a scent roll-on, get your grip strength on a live leaderboard, get photographed at the arch. Part wellness lab. Part live show. Part girls’ afternoon out.

What is The Hot Seat?

The panel, without the raised hands. You text your question in anonymously, it scrolls up on the screen behind the panelists, and they answer the questions the room actually has. Then paddles up for the myth round. You can send your question in right now — the form is on this site.

What is the Bloom Passport?

A stamped booklet in your tote. One stamp per station, and four stamps by 6:15 PM earns a bonus entry in The Drop plus a sticker and a Bloom Day-only code for the next Midlife Bloom Method™ 6-Week Cohort. Sign the Blue Zones Pledge and you get a fifth stamp and a second entry.

Do I have to be in menopause to come?

No. Bloom Day is built for women 40+ in perimenopause and menopause, and it is just as useful if you are 38 and want to know what is coming, or if you are supporting someone who is in it. Bring your sister, your friend, your partner.

What should I wear and bring?

Comfortable clothes you can move in and closed-toe shoes — there is a grip test and a plank hold, and you will want to be able to stand up quickly. Bring your phone, because the QR codes, the anonymous questions, and the Bloom Wall hashtag all live on it. Everything is inside the air-conditioned Pavilion, so leave the sun hat at home and maybe bring a light layer.

Can I attend from home?

Yes. The welcome, the keynote, and The Hot Seat are livestreamed, 3:30 to 4:45 PM Pacific. Register as a virtual attendee and you will get the link, plus replay access for 72 hours afterwards. You can also send anonymous questions into The Hot Seat from your sofa.

Is the venue accessible?

The Pavilion at Sunrise Park is fully indoors and air conditioned, on one level, with ADA-accessible pathways, seating, and restrooms, and there is a marked first aid station on site. Every station is seated or standing-optional, including The Reset. Tell us what you need in the accessibility field when you register and we will make a plan before you arrive.

What does “powered by IKI” mean?

Midlife women are navigating health, stress, work, identity and major life transitions all at once. But educational support is still fragmented. This pilot brings those pieces together in one structured, data-informed journey: the Midlife Bloom Method™ experience, now powered by IKI Health’s ongoing support and measurement between sessions. In practice: the method is still the method — four pillars, a live cohort, a coach who knows your history — and IKI Health’s technology is what keeps it running between the sessions, through a one-minute daily check-in and the pattern it builds. You can try it on your own phone at the Midlife Bloom Method™ table inside CONNECT on October 18, and there is a full page about it on this site. Places are limited, dates and cost are announced to the interest list first, and the technology supports the method rather than replacing anyone’s doctor.

What happened to The Bloom Retreat?

It moved to Spring 2027, and it is an upgrade rather than a goodbye. Everyone who raised a hand early keeps founding-list status and a locked founding rate. Bloom Day is where the 2027 waitlist opens to everyone else, and the founding rate is revealed at 6:15 PM during The Drop.

Registration

350 spots. Free. Gone when they’re gone.

It costs nothing, and it is not a maybe list. An RSVP claims one of the 350 totes, tells us how many stamps and flight cards to pack, and puts your name in the 6:15 PM raffle.
